KanKan is a weekly planner for iPhone, iPad and Mac. Write your plans for the week in one go, and KanKan sorts them into events, to-dos and sticky notes. It has its own week and month calendar and its own widgets, and it works with Apple Calendar.
| Item | Requirement |
|---|---|
| iPhone | iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 16 and later, iOS 26 or later |
| iPad | iPad with M1 or later, or iPad mini (A17 Pro or later), iPadOS 26 or later |
| Mac | Apple silicon (M1 or later), macOS 26 or later |
| Apple Intelligence | Turned on in Settings (System Settings on Mac) > Apple Intelligence & Siri. Your device language and Siri language must be the same supported language. |
What you write is processed on your device. There is no sign-in and no subscription. On iPhone and iPad, a small banner ad appears at the bottom of the screen. See the Privacy Policy for details.
KanKan reads plans written in English, Japanese and Korean. The app follows your device language. To change it for KanKan only, go to Settings > Apps > KanKan > Language on iPhone and iPad, or System Settings > General > Language & Region > Applications on Mac.

If nothing changes, restart your device and tap Check Again in the Apple Intelligence section of KanKan's Settings. Open Settings (Open System Settings on Mac) in the same section takes you straight there. When you contact us, a screenshot of the small diagnostic line in that row helps us find the cause.
After you turn it on, the model takes a while to download. Make sure it's on in Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri, then tap Check Again in a little while.
Check the requirements above. On a device that isn't supported, KanKan can't sort a week you write in one go, but you can still add items yourself.
On iPhone and iPad, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Calendars. On Mac, go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Calendars. Then turn on KanKan.
Your default calendar. You can pick another one under Add Events To in KanKan's Settings, and choose which calendars appear under Visible Calendars. If your Calendar app is connected to another account, such as Google, events sync there too.
That's on purpose. KanKan never makes up a time you didn't write. With a time it's an event, without one it's a to-do for that day. You can tap the to-do later to set a time.
To-dos and sticky notes sync through iCloud. Make sure your devices use the same Apple Account. Then, in Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Saved to iCloud, tap See All and turn on KanKan. Closing and reopening the app syncs again.
KanKan saves your items in several layers so they don't get lost. If something is still missing, email us and tell us when it happened and what you were doing.
Open KanKan once, then add a widget from your Home Screen (on Mac, from the desktop or Notification Center). There are four: Today, This Week, Sticky Notes and Calendar.
